The Good People Collective aims to reverse engineer traditional styles of voter education through content and media to better activate Black voters, engage them in "good politics" and bring out the overall “good” ness in our communities.

Digital Community Building Track

GENERAL PRINCIPLE (GP)

We employ a cohort of like-minded civic influencers to do the work of transforming hefty concepts regarding policy and its relationship to specific steps in the democratic process into digestible and accessible content.

In keeping with the ever-evolving state of our political climate, our focus remains on the people’s ability to understand it, actively engage in it, and make a change in the alignment with our Four Agreements and the issues our organization has deemed critical.

These efforts are informed by research gained in partnership with other organizations active in the fight against mis/disinformation, like Project 68, as well as qualitative studies conducted in-house through localized focus groups.
